Collaboratives
Columbia Heights/Shaw Family Support Collaborative - works to support children, youth and families in northwest Washington, DC. The Collaborative’s target area primarily serves Ward 1 residents.
East River Family Strengthening Collaborative - pursues a holistic strategy to improve the economic, educational and social conditions of children and families living east of the Anacostia River. The Collaborative’s target area primarily serves Ward 7 residents.
Edgewood/Brookland Family Support Collaborative - works from a strengths-based focus and through the service efforts of residents and other community stakeholders to ensure that the Edgwood/Brookland community is healthy and thriving for all of its members. The Collaborative’s target area primarily serves Ward 5 residents.
Far Southeast Family Strengthening Collaborative - works to create a healthy socioeconomic environment through which each child and family in the Far Southeast community has opportunities to achieve maximum potential and lead a productive life. The Collaborative’s target area primarily serves Ward 8 residents.
Georgia Avenue/Rock Creek East Family Support Collaborative - works to bring people and organizations together to build healthier, stronger families and neighborhoods along the Georgia Avenue corridor and east of Rock Creek Park. The Collaborative’s target area primarily serves residents of Ward 4.
South Washington/West of the River Family Strengthening Collaborative - works to coordinate the participation of residents, government, community and private sector resources in an effort to reduce the incidence of child abuse and neglect and to eradicate the social ills that beset families and community in South Washington. The Collaborative’s target area primarily serves residents of Ward 5.
